Domestic EPC

A domestic Energy Performance Certificate is a legal requirement when selling or letting a home in England and Wales. It rates the property’s energy efficiency from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient), and is valid for 10 years.

From 1 October 2030, all privately rented homes must reach at least band C under the government’s Warm Homes Plan.
